2010 Parade of Lights Celebration Schedule of Events Monday, December 6th – Downtown Sutton
Return to event list.• Train rides for the kids. By BNSF station by railroad tracks 4 – 6 p.m. • Horse-drawn wagon rides. In front of Sutton Community Senior Center 4 – 8 p.m. • Glow Sticks available at Astra and Cornerstone Bank. • Soup and Sandwich Supper, Kramer Sisters, and Wine Tasting 4-8 p.m. at the Sutton American Legion. • Kids Cookie Decorating – Sutton Bakery 5-6:30 p.m. • Children’s Ornament Decorating & Book Signing by Sue Bauman – Friends of the Library 5-6 p.m. • Look for Frosty, Rudolph, Christmas Bear and Santa’s Elves walking downtown Sutton! • Lighted Parade – Downtown Sutton 6:30 p.m. (line up for parade is at 6 p.m. by Bowling Alley). • Get your picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus – immediately following the parade at the Sutton Community/Senior Center (please bring your camera for a photo opportunity). • Announcement of the Raffle Winners after activities. Win Chamber Bucks – Grand prize $200; two 2nd prizes of $100; four 3rd prizes of $60. Raffle tickets available at all Sutton banks and City Hall. • Silent Auction – Baskets and or Wreaths will be available in participating business until December 3rd , after that they can be seen and bid on at the Sutton American Legion until 7:30 p.m. when the highest bids will be awarded. • Look for Customer Appreciation Open Houses at downtown Sutton businesses • Old Fire Truck Rides at Fire Hall after parade; Sponsored by Sutton Volunteer Fire Department. • More Children’s Activities at the Sutton Community Center including games and INFLATABLES! *Sutton Chamber Bucks are available at the Sutton Chamber of Commerce desk in City Hall. Chamber bucks are available in denominations of $20 and are redeemable at Sutton Area Chamber of Commerce member businesses. They make great Christmas gifts!
