Event Description

On Saturday, September 22, 2012, Boys Town Pediatrics will be hosting a free Internet Safety Panel event from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Boys Town Headquarters – 14100 Crawford Street, on Boys Town Campus.

A panel of experts, including a board certified pediatrician, psychologist and Internet safety advocate, will provide parents, caregivers and educators with up-to-date information on social networking, cyberbullying and web gaming. The adults-only event will help attendees understand the web, recognize online risks, learn web safety tip and help identify potential warning signs in children. Attendees are encouraged to post questions or topic discussions on the Boys Town Pediatrics facebook page prior to the event. Attendees may also ask questions during the event.
