Riverside Golf Club is soon to become a battleground for Grand Island's top dessert chefs at Hope Harbor's inaugural fundraising event, "Serving Up Hope: Battle Caramel."
Return to event list.Using caramel as the staple ingredient, each contender will create a flavorsome dessert and you, the judges, will determine a winner. It’s the perfect combination of creative cuisine and competition, and a novel way for you to sample delectable caramel creations while supporting your local homeless shelter. This inaugural event will benefit our area's homeless women, children, and families. Saturday, February 2, 2013 Riverside Country Club 6:00 pm Cocktail Reception & Silent Auction Bidding 7:00 pm Dinner & Dessert Competition This special evening will feature complimentary wine and beer, live entertainment by Michael Walker, a silent auction, a sit-down dinner and the highly anticipated dessert competition by four local chefs. (You're the judge!) Tickets are $75 each. Reserve by January 17 and receive a free "pick your prize" raffle ticket (valued at $10 per person). Sit with friends by reserving a table for 8.
