An information sharing meeting will be held for parents and their daughters to learn more about the upcoming Teen Chat group. The Teen Chat Group is for girls between the ages of 13 to 16. Teen Chat is designed to help girls develop self-empowerment skills, healthy relationship skills, a positive self-image, and provide a framework for personal-goal-setting. Our objectives include increasing understanding of the importance of positive decision-making, knowing how to access formal support systems in their communities and developing at least 2 long-term personal goals.
