What we're going to do is start with seasonal fresh fruit and I have a beautiful mixture of raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries. And what's nice about these is all you have to do is rinse them off, pat them dry. There's no cutting or anything involved. Next, we're going to go with strawberries and strawberries are nice because you can use a dull knife. So I'm just using a table knife. No chance of getting cut and we're just going to slice it up into little pieces. And let's face it, mom really needs a special treat and this is something you can make yourself.

So what I'm going to do is I'm getting a real pretty clear glass. I bought some angel food cake in the bakery department using my same knife. We're gonna cut it up and you can just cube it up into little pieces with your hands. So we're going to put this into the glass and then this is where you can have fun. Just pick whatever mixtures of fruit - you can do a layer of strawberries, a little more cake. And if you want to do this for breakfast you can even take, like, raisin toast and toast it and then cut it up or tear it up. But the angel food cake is really easy to do and it tastes really good.

So then we're going to add some blueberries and some raspberries. A little more cake. Some blackberries. More strawberries. Isn't that getting pretty?

Now, I'm a mom and I would love this. But my kids never make me anything for Mother's Day. If my daughter heard that she'd be really mad. Anyway, so here we go. We're gonna finish it off. Then, to make it really good and really healthy I'm gonna top it with some yogurt.

So this is some Greek yogurt and it's got kind of a sour taste to it, but there's some orange flavoring in it and so with the sweet from the cake and the fruit and then the tartness from the yogurt. Then we're going to top it with a little sprig of mint. And my mint's kinda wilty, but there's a beautiful, little Mother's Day Gift that's easy to make, wonderful to eat, and I bet mom will share some with ya.
