Australian boys receive Gardasil vaccine

12 and 13 year old boys from a high school in Sydney Friday were the first males in the world to receive the free cervical cancer vaccine, Gardasil.

The vaccine fights off 70-percent of cervical cancers caused by HPV infection.

Males carry the sexually transmitted virus.

The vaccine developed by Australian scientist and it can also protect both sexes from other types of cancer.
