UNL workshop focuses on conservation for farmers

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is hosting a workshop at the end of the month near Clay Center. The event will focus on helping corn farmers save water and money.

The Irrigation and Energy Conservation Field Day at the South Central Agricultural Laboratory is scheduled for August 30th.

Topics include water conservation in irrigated and dryland corn production, cutting energy costs for corn production, increasing yield and profitability, and managing surface and groundwater irrigation.
