One Adams Central Elementary school will have something new to look forward to in the coming years.

Principal Lonnie Abbott announced earlier this week that Adams Central District 15 will know be known as Adams Central East Elementary or ACE.

The school is also making the Junior Patriot its mascot with the school colors red, white and blue.

The changes come at a time where the school has undergone many changes in the past several months like the closings of Tri-View and Ayr Elementary.

Students came up with about 24 names, those names were then submitted to Parent/Teacher organizations and patrons also had the option to vote online.
