Wedding dresses, limos, DJs and of course cakes were on display for the local brides in Grand Island Saturday.

The 7th annual Heartland Bridal Expo made the Heartland Event Center in Grand Island its home.

This year's theme was the "Red Carpet" and vendors went all out to make the more 200 registered brides and over 1,000 interested attendants feel like stars.

With more than 50 vendors, brides and grooms to be could book everything they needed to make their special event complete.

The Stuhr Museum is even a wedding venue option.

"We have everything that you need for a wedding," said Hollie Klimek, the Nebraska Wedding Guide. "From the bridal gowns, to the flowers, to hair and makeup, to transportation. We have venues here, so they could come here in one afternoon and get their entire wedding booked."

The Nebraska Wedding Guide and The Heartland Event Center hope that this partnering will help the show grow year after year.
