Antique tractors take on the balance beam

by Josh Bonifas

One of the highlighted events Wednesday night at the fair involved antique tractors and a balance beam.

Competitors came from all around to try their hand at the "Tractor Challenge" located in the Outdoor Arena.

The tractor drivers competed in multiple games including testing how long they could balance their ride.

Kent Tucker of Aurora was able to last 25 seconds in his first time participating.

He said it's harder than he thought.

Wednesday night's event was put on by the Central Nebraska Antique Tractor and Equipment Club.
