Arrest warrant issued for Grand Island man

An arrest warrant in Hall County has been issued for Arkanjelo Kot after he failed to appear for a pre-trial hearing on a charge of assaulting a Corrections Officer.

Just a few months ago, in November, a Hall County jury found Kot innocent of first degree murder charges in the July 2010 shooting death of Walid Omar Aden.

Police describe Kot as a black male, 6'5" tall and 170 pounds.

Anyone with information on Kot's location is asked to contact the Grand Island Police.
