Arrest warrant issued for Grand Island suspect in shooting death

A man familiar to the city of Grand Island is wanted for a role in the shooting death of 20 Year old Tyler Schoenrock.

Lancaster County Authorities are still searching for 20 year old Adrian Casares.

An arrest warrant for him was issued on Friday.

The warrant charges Casares with terroristic threats (felony) and use of a firearm to commit a felony.

Casares was one of nearly a dozen suspects arrested back in 2010 in connection with Operation Pier Pressure.

The individuals in that case faced charges ranging from drug trafficking to firearm violations.
