Art in the Park

Thirty-five vendors put their talents on display at the fifth annual Art in the Park in Libbs Park in Hastings Sunday afternoon.

Cedar furniture, hand blown glass sculptures, jewelry and paintings, were some of the items being sold.

Hundreds of local residents came out to view the artists' wares and some even bought a few items.

"You know we really like the event." said Keleena Fong, the Executive Director of the Hastings Visitor's Center. "We like to make sure that we keep the number of vendors about the same, so that the competition for the vendors isn't too much. We think that this is just a great event to build on."

Next year's Art in the Park is already scheduled for the first weekend in August.
