Baldwin Filters plans expansion in Kearney

Baldwin Filters is looking to expand its Kearney facility with a new multi-million dollar project.

The company says groundbreaking for the new 400,000 square foot Distribution Center will take place this spring and will be located to the east of its Kearney facility.

Company officials say distribution operations in the current 110,000 square foot distribution center, built in 1998, have exceeded capacity, and the $40 million investment represents the company's continued commitment to the Kearney area, and should have a significant economic impact for some time to come.
