Barn Festival kicks off in Hastings

If you're looking for the perfect Christmas gift or just want to spruce up your home with some new décor you might stop by the Barn Festival this weekend south of Hastings.

The event is held the last two weekends of May and September.
It kicked off Friday.

It's an 18 year tradition now of offering homemade items and art.

There's plenty of shopping from kids items to holiday decorations and even some tasty treats. New this year: Fine Arts and a 'Barn Again' corner.

The festival is open from 10:00 to 6:00 this weekend and next. There's lunch available from 11:00 to 2:00.
