Blue Hill raises more than $5,000 for first responders
It was a showing of support and appreciation of those who first responded to the deadly Blue Hill crash earlier this month.
$5400 was how much the community raised. Blue Hill Community Schools Superintendent Joe'l Ruybalid announced Monday that about $4200 was raised at the Doniphan Trumbull football game that took place just two days after this accident on September 7th. And after the game donations designated for First Responders continued to pour into the school for a total amount of $5,400. Ruybalid says the outpouring of support and appreciation for the first responder groups has been tremendous. The first responders responded to the site of the bus/tractor trailer collision. Four people died in that accident. |
