He's had an Olympic start to the year, but Wednesday Nebraska's own Olympic Gold Medalist Curt Tomasevicz spent the day at the State Fair in Grand Island.
As the spokesman for Nebraska corn farmers, Tomasevicz said he's proud to represent the Midwest and the values, commitment and work ethic of Nebraska corn farmers.
The Olympian posed with fans, handed out his autograph and spoke about what's next in his athletic career.
"The next bobsledding world cup season starts in October and I'll take part in that kind of see how that season goes and if its fine and I'm still healthy and its going well then I'll go another year and keep going in that way and if it ends up being four years and another Olympics good. If not I kind of got what I wanted out of the sport," said Tomasevicz.
Tomasevicz's four man bobsledding team won the Olympic Gold Medal in the Vancouver Olympics.
It was the first gold medal for the U.S in bobsled in 62 years.
