Boy's service dog CoCo finishes basic training

Coco is one step closer to being a full time service dog for one local boy. This is an update on the story of seven year old Alex Anderson and his Saint Bernard.

Alex suffers from Tourette's Syndrome and a chromosomal disorder among other health issues.

After generous donations Coco was taken to service dog training in California over a month ago.

Alex and his family returned Monday after visiting Coco, who is doing very well so far.

Coco's basic training is done and she will now have training in public places.

The return date for the canine depends on how well training with Alex goes.

The family will visit the 200 pound pup again in late April.
