You remember the story of 7 year old Alex and his service dog CoCo just a few weeks ago. Alex suffers from a chromosomal disorder and Tourette's Syndrome among other health issues.

His big St. Bernard CoCo helps him cope.

After a recent outpouring of donations the Anderson family is able to get CoCo trained as a service dog.

"This gift of Coco being trained is the gift of not having to worry every time the phone rings, not having to worry every time he's not in your sight. Even if you're in your own home, it's constantly, where's Alex, what's he doing?" said Alex's mom Kim Anderson.

The Anderson's are flying CoCo out to California Friday. He'll be spending the next two months in training.

Both Alex and his mom say they're going to really miss CoCo.
