Conditions were so foggy in Adams County that a student involved in a train crash couldn't be transported by helicopter. She was taken by ambulance to Lincoln.

Juniata emergency crews were called to this crash just before 8:00 Monday morning.

It happened north of Juniata on Alda Road.

The State Patrol says 16 year old Cassidy Wormstadt of Juniata couldn't stop in time and drove into the train.

The train pushed the car about a hundred feet past the intersection.
Wormstadt was taken to Mary Lanning, then transported to Bryan in Lincoln.

At this time her condition is not known.
