Purses snatched from cars at the Smith Softball Complex in Hastings

Eight purses were stolen from vehicles at the Smith Softball complex Sunday, and it happened in broad daylight.
According to Hastings Police, someone broke out car windows to steal the purses.
The thefts occurred around 10:45 a.m.
Police say there were no witnesses to the crimes.
