Clay Anderson to receive Tom Osborne Leadership Award

Ashland native Clay Anderson has been chosen to receive this year's leadership award.

He'll be honored at a banquet in Hastings January 23rd.

The Tom Osborne leadership award is given annually by the group Leadership Hastings. It's given to a top leader in Nebraska.

Anderson received a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Hastings College. He joined NASA'S Johnson Space center in 1983.
He became the first astronaut from Nebraska.

The event on January 23rd will be held at Lochland Country Club and costs $60.
