College students join Whiteclay fight

Tools

Nebraska college students are joining the Whiteclay fight. They're from Creigton, the University of Nebraska at Omaha and the University of Nebraska Lincoln.

The students say something needs to be done to stop the flow of alcohol from the small Nebraska town to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation just over the South Dakota Border.

Part of their call for action includes boycotting Anheuser Busch.

The Ogallala Sioux Tribe is suing the beer maker for the alcohol-related problems on the Reservation.

The lawsuit says four retailers in the dozen-resident town of Whiteclay sold the equivalent of five million cans of beer in 2010.
