He suffered a traumatic brain injury in September, leaving him in a coma.

Saturday, friends and family of, Josh Wynn, came together at Miscues bar in Hastings to raise money for his hospital bills.

The accident happened while riding a dirt bike with his three year old daughter.

Wynn hit a post covered by tall grass.

His family believes he threw his daughter off the bike in an attempt to save her.

He landed on his neck. Luckily, she walked away with just a bloody nose.

Wynn grew up in Hastings, but lives in Kansas with his wife and four kids.

"We love him so much and we hope that he gets better soon, so that he comes home," said Wynn's daughter, Josha Wynn.

"I've been going up every Monday morning, staying all day with him. When his wife would come up, then I would come home," said Wynn's Grandfather, Harold Steepleton.

He's currently at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln.

If you'd like to help the family has a fund set up at Southwest National Bank in Wichita, Kansas.
