Conflict leads to Kearney Head Start lockdown

Tools

Everyone is safe Thursday night following a brief lockdown at the Kearney Head Start Thursday afternoon.

According to a Head Start official, there was concern from something said to a teacher right before the afternoon class let out - something that was considered an "imminent danger."

The half hour lockdown was part of the school's safety procedure and we're being told there was no incident.

Kearney Police told News 5 that it was a personal fight and that there was no threat to the community.
