Lee Terry works to remove roadblocks for XL pipeline

Nebraska Congressman Lee Terry formally introduced bi-partisan legislation in the house Friday morning. That would remove the fate of the Keystone XL pipeline from the President's hands and clear away roadblocks preventing its construction.

Terry worked in conjunction with five other representatives and two senators who Thursday introduced legislation in the Senate to approve the pipeline using Congressional authority.

The group of lawmakers says it's all about jobs.

"Just in Omaha alone with the trade unions that are waiting to get off the bench and go to work it's two thousand or more direct jobs in Nebraska not 35 over two thousand just in the Omaha metropolitan area," said Terry.
