Coach Cook's daughter jailed after hit and run

A standout Nebraska volleyball star spent sometime behind bars Sunday night after being arrested for leaving the scene of an injury accident and driving with a suspended license.

Lincoln police say Lauren Cook clipped a motorcyclist who was stopped at the side of a road shortly before noon Sunday.

Police found Cook about a half-mile away, her 2007 Toyota 4Runner disabled because of a shredded front tire.

The motorcyclist suffered a broken leg.

After three hours in the Lancaster County Jail, an unidentified person posted the $500 bond for Cook.

She has been ticketed six times for speeding since 2007.
