From thin mints to peanut butter patties, it's that time of year again.
Starting Friday Girl Scouts are selling those delicious cookies.

Over 2100 cases of cookies were stacked in Grand Island for local troops to pick up and begin selling.

The first couple of weeks girl scouts will be selling door to door.

On February 25th they will start booth sales, including grocery stores.
There are 8 different varieties of cookies, including new Mango Crèmes.

Thin Mints are the number one selling cookie, with Caramel De-lights trailing closely.

But everyone has a favorite.

"Thin Mints. Thin Mints," said Cortney and Joselyn Mullins.

"They're learning, people skills, money management, that type of thing. So there's a deeper meaning to the cookie program, but the girls also have a lot of fun while they're participating and it's just a good program that the community likes to support. It's a good way for them to support our local girls and the community," said Product Program Manager Ginger Jelinek.

Cookies will be on sale through March 24.
