A court date has been scheduled for a Grand Island Northwest High School teacher and coach after being arrested on suspicion of providing alcohol to a minor.

30 year old Aaron Sasges is a business teacher; as well as the head cross country coach; and an assistant boys' basketball coach.

He was arrested late last month in Butler County.

GINW Superintendent Matt Fisher says Sasges is on paid leave and cannot attend any school activities until the matter is settled.

His initial court appearance is March 21st. If convicted, he could face up to one year in prison and a $1,000 fine.

The 18 year old girl for whom Sasges allegedly procured alcohol,
was cited for "minor in possession." Her court date is scheduled for April. She could get up to 3 months in jail
