The Kearney Police Department issued an alert to businesses that accepting credit and gift cards. It might have you credit card holders checking your statements for strange transactions.

There's a fraud case that's spanning from Nebraska to Florida.

The alert sent out said that a large ring of individuals have been making fake credit cards by using stolen credit card numbers.

The suspects then make large purchases until the credit card company catches on; then they create a new card.

The cards are possibly being made in Grand Island.

Two of the suspects are in custody: 33 year old Felix Carlos Diaz-Brito of Miami and, 30 year old Willian Cabrera-Moreira of Grand Island.

Businesses are being told to be on alert.

It might be a good idea of credit card holders to look out, too, for stolen numbers.
