Dr. Yazdi's medical license temporarily suspended

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services has suspended the medical license of Grand Island gynecologist Doctor Navid Yazdi.

The two month suspension started in July and will end September 14th.
Yazdi's license will then be on probation from September 2010 to March 2012.

In January, a judge found Yazdi guilty of asking a patient for sexual favors.

As part of a plea deal Yazdi was not given any jail time, but was ordered to pay a thousand dollar fine.
