A new option at the pump will soon be offered for Nebraska drivers. Tuesday, the Nebraska Corn Board announced The Uncle Neal's Phillips 66 in Lexington will be the first retailer in Nebraska to offer E-15.

The date on when the E-15 will begin being served is expected to be announced in the next few weeks.

The EPA approved E15 for use in 2001 and newer cars, light duty trucks, and SUVS and gave final approval in June for sale.

It's been 30 years since a new fuel was introduced.

Neal Hoof, owner of the Uncle Neal's in Lexington, is one of the recipients of the Nebraska Corn Board blender pump grant.
