Eating breakfast with Santa

Kids of all ages gathered at the Viaero Event Center in Kearney Saturday for the 4th annual Kid Zone's Breakfast with Santa.

Children came in their pajamas to have a pancake breakfast.

They listened to "It was the Night before Christmas" read by Mrs. Claus.

They also made Christmas mugs, and of course were able to see Santa, as well.

Tara Knuth, Executive Director of the Kearney Area Children's Museum, says that this is one of the best events of the year.

"I love seeing all the families, the kids in their pajamas," Knuth said.
"Parents love this. They don't have to get dressed in the morning, they came out in their jammies, they see Santa, they do all this stuff and it's just a day when all that kid magic comes out."

They are expecting over 1,000 people to come out to the event. All of the proceeds go to support the Children's Museum.
