Seventeen thousand dollars in cash gone, one arrest made and four exotic dancers are short on their money for the week. Grand Island Police are investigating a robbery that happened at the Conoco Motel in Grand Island.

On December 8th Saturday morning around 7:30 am, four women Chantya Jackson, Monica Lockatt, Cathy Gonzalez and Niftaria Bell reported being robbed and assaulted at the Conoco Motel in Grand Island.

All women are between the ages of 26 and 32 years old. Grand Island Police Officer Butch Hurst says the women were in their rooms when three men broke inside with two firearms.

They stole $17,000 in cash plus an iPad, laptop and car keys.

The women are all exotic dancers at the Edge in Alda. Three of the victims have Milwaukee addresses; one other is listed in Louisiana.

One of the women was struck with a firearm during the incident and taken to the hospital for face and head injuries.

Police arrested 22 year old Hussein Hussein in connection with the incident. He was booked at the Hall County Jail.

Hussein is facing multiple charges including robbery, burglary and the use of a weapon to commit a felony.

For each charge he could face a maximum of 50 years in prison.

Hall County Attorney Mark Young refused to comment on the case, all he could said was it's under investigation.

There was an arraignment this morning, where Young revealed that this incident stems from another disagreement between the defendant and the four women.

Hussein's girlfriend works at the Edge (who was not at the hotel at the time of this incident) but Young says Hussein was upset because his girlfriend was not making as much money as the other women. Hussein is still in custody.

His bond is set at $100,000. And his preliminary hearing is set for January 23rd.
