It's a tradition before any football game, tailgating. Both Huskers fans and Wisconsin Badgers fans took part in the age old tradition before Saturday's big game in Indianapolis.

The match up took place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indy.

Fans grilled hotdogs and hamburgers before partaking in a little bean bag toss.

News 5's Ed Littler is in Indy for the game and caught up with some of those avid fans.

"We're having a good time celebrating the Huskers and hopefully a good win and just hanging out with friends and family and out for a good time," said Huskers fan Julie Palm.

"Good weather, good atmosphere, hey, it's a good day for football, on Wisconsin," said Badgers fan Greg Harms.

"That's the way it should be, it's a good little vacation," said Huskers fan Steve Zimola. "The weather is awesome out here and I wouldn't have it any other way."

It was a perfect day for those tailgaters with sunny skies and highs in the 60s.
