GI teacher will not be charged for alleged assault case

The Grand Island Police Department says it will not seek a prosecution in the alleged sexual assault case against a teacher at Westridge middle school.

Police received a report on October 19th that a teacher at the school had inappropriately touched a 12 year old female student.

Police say they have concluded their investigation into the allegations and determined that no criminal statutes were violated.
