Grand Island couples' bank fraud sentencing delayed
A Grand Island couple convicted of conspiracy and making false statements to various banks will remain won't know their penalty for at least another month.
Billy and Carol Nesiba's sentencing has been pushed back until March. The two were found guilty in November as doing business as "Bill's Classic Auto" in Grand Island and using that essentially as a way to submit a series of false statements to Heritage Bank, Bank of Doniphan, and Tier One. All of it combined cost the banks approximately $850,000. Sentencing was scheduled for Friday, but will now be held on March 15th in Omaha. |
