Grand Island police investigate armed robberies
Grand Island police continue their investigation into two armed robberies. Authorities have made two arrests in those incidents, but are still searching for more suspects.
The first robbery happened Friday night in the 1200 block of Warren Lane. 3 males kicked the front door of the residence down. Police say they did have firearms. Knives and materials used for drug paraphernalia were stolen. 20 year old Sabastian Camper is in Hall County Jail Monday morning facing several charges. Police are still looking for the other two assailants. The investigation also continues into a Saturday morning robbery at the Conoco Motel in Grand Island. Police are searching for 3 males that were part of group of 4 that stole $18,000 in cash from a group of 4 Milwaukee women. Published reports indicate the women worked at the Edge Juice Bar in Alda; but Grand Island police could not confirm that Monday morning. One arrest was made in the case. 22 year old Hussein Hussein is in Hall County jail facing charges of robbery and first degree assault. |
