A gun vendor is one firearm short Monday night and a thief is to blame for it. The city held its annual Hastings Gun show this weekend and the Hastings Police Department says one gun was stolen at the event.

A .380 caliber semi-automatic hand gun was taken from a vendor during Sunday's gun show.

The Four Rivers Sportsmans Club sponsored the event.

Hundreds of people showed up inside the Adams County Fairgrounds site.

But unfortunately, no one saw who stole the gun.

Sergeant Bill Mann of the Hastings Police Department says anytime a firearm is stolen it's a concern.

One of the vendors stated that between noon and 3:00 pm he noticed one of his gun stands was empty and asked his other employees if they had sold the gun and they said no

Since News 5 covered the event Hastings Police did ask us for video that could possibly reveal a suspect.

The Hastings police department has no further information at this time.
