Hall County population tops 60,000

The big 6-0. No, it's not a birthday. It's the new population for Hall County.

According to the U.S. Census bureau, Hall County went up 1.3 percent from July 2011 to July 2012 to 60,345 people.

Buffalo County went up 1.6 percent to more than $47,000 residents.

Adams County grew, but barely. Just a fraction of a percent to 31,459.
