Hastings Click It or Ticket yields 100+ citations

The Hastings Police Department says it issued more than 100 citations and made four arrests during its November Click It or Ticket Mobilization.

That effort ran from November 19th through the 25th.

Officers issued a total of 103 citations during that time: 76 were for speeding, 3 for careless driving, 6 for Minor in Possession of Alcohol, and 8 for seatbelt violations to name just a few.

Police also say that an officer stationed near 12th and Baltimore on the 6th observed only 57 percent of drivers were wearing a seatbelt.

On the 27th, 84 percent of drivers were buckled up.
