A Hastings College football player is out on bond after being arrested on drug charges late last week.

According to the Adams County Sheriff's Department, Dalton Sealey was arrested Friday on a warrant.

Sealey faces two counts of attempt to distribute marijuana.

Bronco football coach Tony Harper says Sealey has been suspended from the team indefinitely.

"I have full confidence in this team, the guys that we got on it right now, that are immediately on this team, I got trust in our coaches that we'll rebound from this and we'll put this behind us, we'll learn from it, we'll admit it, fix it and won't repeat it," said Harper.

A Hastings College spokesperson said the school could not confirm or deny if the St. Cecilia graduate is still a student at the school because of privacy concerns. But college officials say, if you follow past cases like this, you can presume he will be withdrawn from the college until the results from the legal case are done.
