Hastings College president discusses tuition freeze

On Monday, Governor Dave Heineman proposed a freeze on higher education tuition rates in the state for the next two years.

That presents a challenge for private colleges in Nebraska looking to increase enrollment.

Hastings College President Dennis Trotter says the key is providing students something that will benefit them in the real world.

President Trotter also said he doesn't want to raise tuition at Hastings.
Coming up in the next few weeks, we'll sit down with President Trotter and talk to him about changes occurring at the college and challenges facing them.
