Hastings police arrest men in stabbing incident

Hastings Police arrested 2 men Friday after an altercation at a residence on the 1400 block of east C Street.

Police say 36 year old Tennile Linares stabbed a man in the back with what appeared to be a steak knife.

And 35 year old Yoel Lopez struck the victim on the back with a broomstick.

Police arrested both Tennile and Lopez for second degree assault with a weapon.

Lopez could also face charges for tempering with a witness and obstruction of justice.

In a separate case, Hastings police arrested 19 year old Larry Achor for 2nd degree assault after allegedly pointing a gun at a man and then hitting the man with the gun.

That incident happened at a residence on the 300 block of East 6th Street.
