Of course this time of year, everyone is getting into the Halloween spirit and in Grand Island it's a spooky ride for the whole family.

The Annual Haunted Halloween Express opened this weekend.

The Halloween themed train takes riders on a journey through Stolley Park in Grand Island.

The train runs regularly in the summer.

This is the season finale before the train goes into hibernation for the Winter.

"We give them little teasers," said train operator Ken Scholl. "When it gets dark, the spooks come out. We've got bats in the tunnel. We've got skeletons in the tunnel. It's nothing intense, but it's all geared for the little people and the young at heart."

The Halloween express is open Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It costs two dollars to ride.
