Heat played role in Omaha man's death
A reason now to pay extra attention to those heat warnings you hear a lot about this time of year. The heat may have played a role in the death of a man involved in an Omaha car crash last month.
48-year-old Paul Tamayo of Council Bluffs wrecked his vehicle at a construction site. He was later found passed out a half mile away. According to reports, his core body temperature was 110 degrees. Officials say the heat is probably what killed him. According to the National Weather Service, it was 101 degrees at the time of the crash. |
