In the Nebraska U.S. Senate race, there's now a new leader when it comes to spending on an ad.
American Crossroads spent nearly $300,000 on an ad attacking Bob Kerrey.
That's the most money spent in the Nebraska race so far.
The group, headed by Karl Rove, is spending $278,000 on the latest statewide commercial.
It portrays Kerrey as a "liberal with a left-leaning" agenda. It says he's out-of-touch because he supports the federal health care overhaul and opposed a balanced budget amendment when he was in the Senate in the 1990s.
