Kerrey announces trip back to New York

Big news on the Bob Kerrey front from Nebraska Watchdog Friday night. The political website is reporting Kerrey told them his wife and son are heading back to New York because of a family illness.

He said Friday was their son's last day of school in Omaha.

But Kerrey told them, "this does not signal that I'm moving back to New York."

The U.S. Senate candidate who lost to Republican Deb Fischer on Tuesday told Nebraska Watchdog: "We have a house here. Sarah, Henry and I will be spending significant time in Nebraska."

He plans to split his time between the two states because of work.
