Whether you chose to tickle your taste buds with tropical punch at the boat races or sip strawberry while looking at classic cars there was plenty to do on the last day of Kool-Aid Days.

Kool-Aid Days ended another successful year with the Annual Kardboard Boat Races at Lake Hastings and Fun in the Sun Car Show at Pastime Lanes.

Nineteen boats were launched into the lake, with some more successful than others.

While a little further south more than 140 cars filled the parking lot of Pastime Lanes as songs of the 50s filled the air.

Organizers were pleased with the increase in attendance numbers this weekend and were already planning new things for next year.

"It seems like it's a thing that keeps growing every year," said Kip Sitzmore, a boat race organizer. "We actually got two more boats this year than last year. I think everybody's really jumping feet first into it."

A 1963 Cadillac Convertible owned by Edwin Perkins was one of the many specialty cars on display.
