Kot turns himself in after failure to appear at court hearing

Hall County authorities have Arkanjelo Kot in custody Monday night. This comes after he turned himself in just before 1:00 pm Monday.

Kot was found not guilty of murder in November, but didn't show for a pre-trial hearing last month.

Kot's currently facing assault charges involving a corrections officer.
According to the Hall County Jail, Kot will remain in custody until a new court date is set.
